Who is the course for?
Mothers of adolescent sons.
What will you learn?
As a mother, you want to have a connected, meaningful relationship with your teenage son and yet allow him autonomy,
independence and maleness. This programme deepens a mother’s understanding of her son and offers advice on how to
approach, communicate and deal with him in a way that helps him to become a strong and caring man.
Course Content
Topics Include:
- Being a teen and the struggle for his way.
- Communication – reaching him in his silence.
- A son’s demand for more freedom and a mother’s role.
- Masculinity, gender differences and testosterone’s influence.
- Good relationships with self, community and the environment.
- Sex, drugs, parties and social media – how to mentor.
- Conscious parenting – your past and present.
- Tackling emotions – yours and his.


Mothers & Daughters
You want to have a connected, meaningful relationship with your daughter and yet allow her autonomy, independence and uniqueness as she reaches adolescence.
Who is the course for?
Mothers of adolescent girls.
What will you learn?
This programme deepens your understanding of female adolescent development and offers advice on how to communicate and deal with your teenage daughter in a balanced way that allows her to grow and mature into her own integrity as a woman.
Course content
Topics Include:
- Developing healthy personal boundaries.
- Boys, love, sex and friends.
- Social scene – drugs, parties, trends.
- Healthy living: hormones, eating and body image.
- Conscious communicating
Laying the Foundation
A must for Grade 5, 6 & 7 or middle school to prepare your boy for senior school.
Who is the course for?
Parents of young boys (6-11yrs).
What will you learn?
This programme deepens a parent’s understanding of their relationship to their son and offers advice on how to approach, communicate and deal with him in a way that respects his boyhood and his unique personality.
Course Content
Topics Include:
- What it is to be male and an insight into “the boys’ code”.
- Differences between male and female nurturance.
- Understanding why your boy wants to do it his way.
- Balancing freedom with responsibility.
- Building character and morality while uncovering bullying.
- Communicating effectively and problem-solving.
